ADBWC Sponsors an emirate cultural and traditional evening

Under the patronage of the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council (ADBWC), Asrar Public Relations Company organized an Emirati cultural and traditional evening on the 20th of January 2010. The event included a number of activities at the fore of which was a song dedicated by the Al Ain Private Centre for Welfare & Rehabilitation’s children to HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Supreme Chairperson of the Family Development Foundation (FDF) and “Mother of the Emirates,” out of the children’s recognition of and appreciation for both Her Highness and her substantial non-stop support spanning the activities of family and children’s welfare in the UAE.

The soiree’s programme also included a fashion show for the Lebanese designer Mr. Walid Attallah besides other Emirati and traditional ones for UAE and Arab female designers and creative ladies likeDesigner Najwa Al-Awadhi , Artisana Stones for Abbaya and Sheila , Sahraya (Arabic word for “soiree”) and Shabhaya fashions. Add to this, fashions made by the Saudi designer Ms Haya, along with other shows and functions. 
The ADBWC’s sponsorship and back-up of the event came out of its support to young female talents and creative ladies holding the Mubdi’ah licence of “Your Project via Your Home,” who exhibited their varied products, including handicrafts, Arab perfumes and other items made by creative ladies.
Moreover, the ADBWC stressed the importance of such events for purposes of introducing and promoting products of creative females who have earned the Mubdi’ah licence of “Your Project via Your Home” in Abu Dhabi Emirate, for such occasions are key opportunities for briefing participants on the types of products and services being made or rendered by such creative ladies.
