Terms and Conditions to be Fulfilled by Women Applicants for Licences:
1. They must be UAE nationals and be residents of the Emirate of Abu -Dhabi.
2. They must be no less than twenty-one Anno Domini years old.
3. The licence shall be restricted to a single activity only.
4. Getting a preliminary approval from the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council.
5. Approval by husbands or guardians of effecting a domestic licence together with an undertaking by the same to defray any relevant corporeal or moral liabilities resultant therefrom to other parties.
6. The licence shall be valid for a period of one renewable year.
7. Approval by a building or villa owner if the same is let for the purpose of engaging in the required activity.
8. Getting a licence issued by competent authorities; namely, (the Department of Planning and Economy in both Abu Dhabi and Al Ain -and Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry).
9. Women Licensees shall have to sign up an undertaking of adherence to all necessary terms and conditions and legal rules appertaining to practicing the licensed activity.
